What an honour ❤️

On Sunday 5th of July our artistic directors, Clair Howells and Uwe Köhler, received the “Special Artistic Achievements” award from the Society of Friends of Music and Theatre in Münster and the Münsterland region at Theater Münster.

Since 1990 Theater Titanick has been staging theatre productions in public spaces, creating visually stunning shows with extraordinary stories that connect people worldwide and transcend cultural boundaries. We see public spaces as places of encounter where people can come together to experience theatre, regardless of language, origin or background. This idea has formed the basis of our work from the very beginning.

We are particularly touched that this award comes from our hometown of Münster. It recognises not only our international work, but also our deep connection to Münster and our commitment to the independent arts scene and the city’s cultural life, including the Flurstücke Festival which we initiated.

We dedicate this award to the many artists, technicians and collaborators who have worked with us over the years, contributing their creativity, trust and passion to our work. And of course, to our audience – without you, none of these encounters would have been possible.
