2026 – we are ready!

New Year – New Adventures!

We’re heading into 2026 full of energy and ready to hit the road again with a diverse repertoire. Our new production KIPPPUNKT, an allegory on the climate crisis that was presented this year in Chile and Holzminden among other places; our 360-degree performance UPSIDE DOWN, a seven-metre-high globe that turns the world upside down; and our all-time classic FIREBIRDS, a glowing parade through the city.

FIREBIRDS Special
Opening of the cycling path Parkstadroute

During the festival Cultura Nova 2025, the new cycling path Parkstadroute will be opened with an extraordinary performance: a theatre parade cutting straight through the Parkstad landscape, led by our FIREBIRDS Pilots – come along!

Starting point Route 1: Simpelveld, Stationstraat 22, 1:00 pm
Starting point Route 2: Schinnen Burg, Pijlstraat 5, 1:00 pm
Finale: Kasteel Schaesberg, 4:00 pm

Starting from Schinnen and Simpelveld – the two entry points of the Parkstadroute – we will set off with a colourful convoy: Each parade consists of two FIREBIRDS vehicles accompanied by performers and actors. Along the way, a vibrant procession unfolds, full of surprising acts and encounters – an ode to landscape, connection, and movement. Everyone is invited to join in: bring your bicycle and cycle along from the start or hop in anywhere along the route; you decide your moment to become part of this rolling theatre. Clearly marked stops along the way make it easy to join in – see infos and schedule below.

The two parades will meet around 4:00 pm at Castle Schaesberg, the symbolic heart of the Parkstadroute. There, a visually striking and immersive finale takes place, in which six daredevil pilots and their FIREBIRDS vehicles compete in a thrilling air race. Each pilot seeks to win the audience’s favour – but only one will succeed in fulfilling their long-cherished dream.

A successful show in Portugal’s Capital of Culture 2024

In Aveiro, Portugal’s Capital of Culture 2024, we had the honor of closing this special year with our site-specific production CENÁRIOS INFINITOS. What made it truly unique: not only our Titanick team took part, but also more than 100 performers from Aveiro and the region. Together, we lit up the city – and the faces of more than 15.000 spectators. It was both a great joy and a true honor for us to create the final highlight of the Capital of Culture year.

We are still buzzing from our exciting trip across the Atlantic to Chile

The new year had barely begun and we were off to Santiago for the 32nd International Festival Teatro a Mil. What a trip, what an enthusiastic audience, what an experience, what a success!

It was the fourth time we had performed at South America’s largest performing arts festival. We presented our new production KIPPPUNKT at two different venues in the Chilean capital.

The audience included not only enthusiastic Titanick fans but also high-ranking representatives from the world of culture and sport. Chile’s Minister of Culture Carolina Arredondo Marzán, Minister of Sports Jaime Pizarro, Festival Director Carmen Romero and Director of the Goethe-Institut Verena Lehmkuhl were all impressed by the production’s visual power and dramatic treatment of a topical issue.

Kunst trifft Wissenschaft – Theater Titanick und die Universität Münster kooperieren beim SchlauRaum Festival 2025

Vom 5. bis 11. Juli 2025 wird Münster zum offenen Lernraum: Unter dem Motto „Wieso? Weshalb? Gesund?“ lädt das SchlauRaum Festival zu Vorträgen, Experimenten und interaktiven Formaten rund um das Thema Gesundheit ein – mitten in der Stadt, frei zugänglich für alle.

Die Open Air Produktion KIPPPUNKT ist Teil einer Veranstaltungsreihe von Theater Titanick gemeinsam mit Prof.’in Dr. Antonia Graf, Juniorprofessorin für Global Environmental Governance am Institut für Politikwissenschaft der Universität Münster (IfPol). Gemeinsam bringen wir Kunst, Wissenschaft und Öffentlichkeit in Dialog:

1. Korridor statt Kippen? Konsumkorridore als Strategie für nachhaltige Entwicklung

Konsumkorridore bilden Entscheidungsräume für nachhaltigen Konsum. Sie sind eine Möglichkeit, um die Frage nach einem ‚guten Leben‘ innerhalb planetarer Grenzen zu thematisieren. Das Konzept spricht darüber hinaus zu den zentralen Herausforderungen nachhaltiger Entwicklung und stellt eine Option zu deren Überwindung dar. Was Konsumkorridore sind, welche Herausforderungen sie aufgreifen aber auch welche Fragen sich bei der Umsetzung stellen, wird in einem Vortrag referiert und im Anschluss mit dem Plenum diskutiert.

Wie entsteht eine Theaterproduktion? Welche besonderen Herausforderungen bringt der Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit mit sich? Die Veranstaltung gewährt Einblicke in den Entstehungsprozess der Open Air Produktion KIPPPUNKT von Theater Titanick. Neben spannenden Hintergrundinfos werden exemplarische Szenen als Vorgeschmack auf die Aufführungen am 06. Und 07.07.25 auf dem Hafenplatz Münster gezeigt.

3. Theater Titanick: KIPPPUNKT – Was, wenn die Natur zurückschlägt?

KIPPPUNKT erzählt eine Klimakrisenallegorie. Nicht belehrend, sondern bestürmend. Nicht abstrakt, sondern auf so absurde Weise greifbar, dass alle sich darin wiederfinden können. Zwischen Eisschollen und Berggipfeln wirft dieses Stück mit elementarer Wucht die Frage auf, woran wir festhalten, während die Welt kippt. Surreal, bildgewaltig und phantasiesprühend wird eines der drängendsten Phänomene unserer Zeit verhandelt.

4. Kunst gegen Kippen?
Montag, 07.07.25 | 17:00 Uhr | Titanick-Zelt auf dem Hafenplatz Münster
Vor dem Hintergrund der Inszenierung KIPPPUNKT von Theater Titanick (06. und 07.07. auf dem Hafenplatz Münster) werden in einer interaktiven Runde Fragen diskutiert: In welchem Zusammenhang stehen globale Gesundheit, Intersektionalität und Klimaveränderungen? Welche Rolle kann Kunst für nachhaltige Entwicklung und Empowerment spielen? Was macht Kunst im Zusammenhang mit globaler und individueller Gesundheit?

Mit dieser Zusammenarbeit zeigen die Universität Münster und Theater Titanick exemplarisch, wie transdisziplinärer Dialog gelingen kann – zwischen Forschung, Kunst und urbaner Öffentlichkeit.
